CITCD- At the forefront of providing essential Islamic services to the most underserved Muslim Communities in Chicagoland
- CITCD was established in 2012 as an Illinois not-for-profit to provide religious, educational, and social services to the community at large.
- Alhamdulillah, CITCD has been providing essential Islamic services to a diverse Muslim community in the South Suburbs of Chicago including Harvey, Calumet City, Dolton, Riverdale, Markham, Posen, Country Club Hills, Hazel Crest, Oak Forest, Midlothian, South Holland and Homewood.
- CITCD operates a free full-time homeschool group , ABRAAR ACADEMY, that provides education to many indigent families from West African diaspora including families from Mali, Ghana, Nigeria, Sierra Leone and Senegal. In addition it also serves various other underserved families from other ethnicities including South East Asia ( India , Pakistan, Afghanistan) and the middle east ( Palestine, Egypt ,Jordan and Syria).
- ABRAAR ACADEMY also administers a full time Hifz-ul-Quran program and weekend Islamic studies classes for the whole family
- We have also been operating the Free Muslim funeral facility for the Muslim communities in South Suburbs of Chicago and northwest Indiana for the last 8 years.
